FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- Voters in the Fairfield School District are set to go to the polls on Tuesday. The district is asking voters to decide on two separate ballot questions.

The first is whether the district can bond for nearly $30 million to remodel the high school and improve the heating and air conditioning systems in several district buildings.

The second question is whether voters wish to give the district the authority to levy the tax necessary to pay off the bonds.

The polls will be open from seven a.m. until eight p.m. on Tuesday.
