MACON, MO -- An Enhanced Enterprise Zone designation means nearly a half million dollars in tax credits to create jobs in the city of Macon.

The Missouri Department of Economic Development has given over $450,000 in tax credits to Conagra in Macon.

The credits will be given over a five year period, which will enable Conagra to create ten new jobs and invest $23 million for an expansion of its Macon facility.
