KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A theft ring is apparently targeting Walmart stores, and the Supercenter in Kirksville is one of them.

Police say three suspects entered the Kirksville store and stole computer equipment earlier this month.

It happened on February 4 between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m.

Investigators say the suspects then got away with the numerous computer-related items by cutting a hole in the fence in the store’s Lawn and Garden Center.

Police believe the Kirksville theft is connected to crimes at Walmarts in Hannibal, Missouri, Quincy, Illinois and Fort Scott, Kansas.

If you have any information about the crime, you're asked to contact the Kirksville Police Department at (660) 785-6945 or (660) 665-5621. You can also call anonymously at (660) 627-Bust (2878).
