BRASHEAR, MO. -- You could call it “A Pie in the Face for Haiti."

A fundraiser at Brashear Schools had everyone, from hugely popular head cook Cathy March to teachers to student council members, wrapping themselves in garbage bags and taking a chocolate pie in the face Thursday.

For a couple of weeks, the entire school put money in jars to vote for those they wanted to see get pied.

The fundraiser was the brainstorm of student council member Chandi March.

Mrs. Salgado, Mrs. Reese and Ms. Cameron were the three teachers selected to get a pie in the face.

The event was hugely popular with students who screamed, laughed and jumped up and down in the bleachers.

Altogether the 230 students who attend Brashear Schools raised $800 to give toward Haiti relief efforts.
