Storm starting to knock out electricity

(OTTUMWA, Iowa)  An ice storm tracking across the Heartland is starting to cause residents to lose power.

According to the Alliant Energy website, 643 customers in Wapello County were without power as off 11:15 Wednesday morning.

Other Heartland Counties reported minor numbers of customers without power, Jefferson County had 46 customers without power, while Moroe reported 26.

All of Southeast Iowa is under an Ice Storm Warning that runs throughout the day.
