ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A U.S. military veterans group has planned stops in six Missouri cities to discuss climate change, dependence on oil and national security.

Missouri Secretary of State Robin Carnahan's U.S. Senate campaign said she planned to speak at a St. Louis event Tuesday. Other stops were scheduled for Cape Girardeau, Springfield, Columbia, Warrensburg and Independence.

The Veterans for American Power is conducting a two-month national bus tour that will include 17 states.
