MACON, MO. -- The Macon County Patriots gathered in Macon Monday night to discuss gun rights.

Los Jimadores Restaurant was packed with club members and other concerned residents.

Guest speaker Greg Liles is a NRA certified instructor in pistol, rifle, and shotgun instructing concealed carry in Missouri.

Liles says he and other members are reaching across party lines to promote the understanding of gun laws.

“They're concerned that possibly their rights could be violated and they're here to learn tonight about the constitution, most importantly the second amendment because until you learn and get refreshed on it, you can't figure out how to defend it,” said Greg Liles.

Liles says he thinks it's possible that our second amendment right could be taken away in the future.  He advises all Americans to read the constitution and know your individual rights.
