(OTTUMWA, Iowa) - The latest controversy taking over the health care reform debate has been the transparency of the process.
Republicans opponents of the bill have recently attack the legislation, saying it was written and passed in secret; despite promises from the president the process would be open.
Iowa Second District Congressman Dave Loebsack firmly believes that the process has been as open as advertised.
We caught up to the incumbent Democrat this past weekend on a tour of his district.
"I think it has been an open process, the bills that have been passed by both the Senate and the House are clearly on-line. Ours was on-line since last summer. So folks have an opportunity to see what is going on out there, no doubt about it," said Loebsack.
