DES MOINES, IOWA (AP) -- The Iowa Lottery says it will end four of its instant scratch games and one of its pull-tab games.
The lottery says the scratch games include "Stars & Stripes," "Twister," "Double or Nothing" and "Cherry Twist." The canceled pull-tab game is "Loot Pursuit."
Lottery officials says scratch game players have until close of business April 5 of this year to claim prizes in the four games. Officials say pull-tab players have until close of business on March 3, 2011, to claim their prizes.
The Iowa Lottery says that since it started in 1985 players have won more than $2.4 billion in prizes and it has raised more than $1.2 billion for state programs.
