Weather-related traffic in Iowa

DES MOINES, IOWA (AP) -- The Iowa State Patrol has released the name of a man who died in a weather-related traffic accident on a Des Moines interstate.

Courtney Greene of the state patrol says 29-year-old Levi Diersen of Grimes died Wednesday in the accident on Interstate 80/35 near 2nd Avenue in Des Moines. Troopers on the scene say snow and icy roadways contributed to the accident.
