KIRKSVILLE, MO -- The Kirksville City Manager has declared a traffic emergency effective Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at 4:00 p.m. due to winter weather conditions.  Citizens will be required to move their parked vehicles from any street designated an “emergency snow route” by 6:00 p.m.

All vehicles parked on emergency snow routes shall be removed within two (2) hours after notice of a traffic emergency has been given. Any vehicle parked on an emergency snow route after such period of time may be removed or caused to be removed by a police officer to a place of safety, and the vehicle may not be recovered until the towing and storage charges are paid by the person claiming the vehicle.
