JEFFERSON CITY, MO. (AP) - (AP) -- The 2010 Missouri legislative session is unofficially getting under way.
Tuesday is the first day that lawmakers can file bills in advance of the legislative session that begins Jan. 6.
As they did last year, Gov. Jay Nixon and legislative leaders have indicated that economic development measures will be among their priorities.
Lawmakers also are expected to propose new ethics requirements and to make another attempt at requiring insurers to cover autism treatments for children.
The annual legislative session runs through mid-May.
