The Kirksville City Council is deciding on next year’s budget.
It’s a painstaking task when the council and city staff go over where city money is going.
It’s councilmember Carolyn Chrisman’s first time with the process. KTVO asked her if she thinks the budget is fiscally conservative. “Our city employees are really good about conserving money and being fiscally conservative. I’m impressed,” Chrisman said.
On Tuesday, the city will continue their budget review.
