KIRKSVILLE, MO --

Models graced the runway Saturday to help out their furry little friends at the Adair County Humane Society.

Maurice's set up shop at the Rotary Park Amphitheater in Kirksville to show off the latest fashions and fall looks, and it was all for a good cause. The store has been collecting pet items all month to donate to the Humane Society. They've collected over 500 items including food, toys, and anything else that an animal at the shelter might need. And the dogs and cats had a good time strutting their stuff.

“Since it is a fundraiser for the Humane Society, we have decided to go ahead and have them go down the runway with a pet, which is great because it's an adopt-a-day so if anybody sees a pet that they really love, they can go ahead and get that animal,” said Organizer Stephanie Becker.

For the rest of the month, anyone who drops off a donation at the store gets a Maurice's coupon.
