KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Kirksville celebrities wowed hundreds Saturday night at the third annual Dancing with Local Stars competition. The dance contest is a fundraiser for the Kirksville High School Dance Team. Famous faces around town donned snazzy costumes to perform the Disco, Country 2-Step, or Foxtrot.
The event usually brings in about 7 or 8 thousand dollars to help the dance team with competition expenses.
Foxtrot winners: Shawn Meintz and Grace Sexton.
Disco winners: C.E. Huffman and Bailey Jones
Country 2-step winners: Mike Klem and Paige Copeland
