FAIRFIELD, IOWA -- The Fairfield Arts and Convention Center will host “Our Story Goes On,” a stirring portrait of the triumphant journey of life Sunday, July 26 at the Sondheim Center. “Our Story Goes On,” presented by the Nauvoo, Illinois Pageant, celebrates families and the enduring cycle of our lives and features professionals from leading roles on Broadway, in film and television and popular recording.
“Our Story Goes On” will be presented at 7 p.m. and tickets are not required, however, free-will donations will be accepted benefiting the Fairfield 1st Fridays Art Walk.
“The Sondheim Center and the Fairfield area are excited to welcome back this performance from Nauvoo for a second year,” said Rustin Lippincott, Fairfield Arts and Convention Center; Visitors Bureau. “This musical production celebrates what is great about families and life. There is something in this performance that everyone will be able to relate.”
Accomplished musicians, composers, singers and actors will blend their talents to present the musical, which features in insightful narrative interwoven with beloved Broadway and American classics including numbers from the Wizard of Oz, Fiddler on the Roof, Disney’s Hercules, Josh Groban, and American folk songs, as well as original compositions prepared especially for the Fairfield performances.
