BONAPARTE, IOWA -- Fire damaged a home in Bonaparte, Iowa, early Monday morning.
The blaze broke out after 2 a.m. at the home of Scott Adams in the 300 block of Washington St.
Bonaparte Fire Chief Rich Miller tells KTVO that firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the third floor attic. The rest of the home suffered smoke and water damage but it is not a total loss.
Miller says the residents were able to safely get out of the home and no one was injured in the fire.
