MACON, MO. -- A popular fast food restaurant will be reopening.

The Kentucky Fried Chicken in Macon will be back open in a few weeks.

It closed back in September of last year after Macon based Bischco Incorporated had financial issues.

The new owner is Brian McCarty from Jefferson City. He says he owns thirteen other KFCs.

McCarty says he’ll be hiring 20 to 30 employees in the next few weeks. He says anyone can just stop by to fill out an application.
