DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - An autopsy is pending on the body of a man found under a bridge near Interstate 80 in Polk County.
The sheriff's office says county conservation officers was checking on an ATV path Wednesday afternoon when he noticed a white tent under the bridge. The officer went to check on the tent and discovered the body of a 54-year-old man.
The sheriff's office says it appeared the man had been dead for some time.
The sheriff's office says the body has been identified but the man's name isn't being released until family is notified.
