President set for return to Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - President Barack Obama will visit a plant that make towers for wind turbines and discuss his energy plan during his first visit to Iowa as president.Obama will visit Trinity Structural Towers in Newton on Wednesday. The plant is housed in a former Maytag plant.

The White House says Obama is expected to arrive in Des Moinesaround 11:30 a.m. He will travel to Newton, where he will tour the plant and meet with employees. He will speak to an invited audience about his energy policy, which includes promoting clean energy, creating millions of new jobs, and addressing climate change. Obama is expected to leave Des Moines at 2:15 p.m.
