OTTUMWA, IOWA -- The community is invited to the official Ottumwa RABGRAI® Kickoff scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Bridge View Center. All interested residents are invited to the Kickoff learn more about the RAGBRAI visit this July.
Residents who are interested in volunteering are especially encouraged to attend and sign up to help in the areas of their interest. The following committees are in need of volunteers to help with pre-planning and on the days of the visit: beverage garden, campground, communications, entertainment, hospitality, housing, information center, publicity, public safety, Ride Right®, showers/sanitation and volunteers.
A special presentation will be given at 5:30 PM to recognize the winner of the logo/theme contest.
T-shirts with the theme of the 2009 Ottumwa RAGBRAI visit will be available for sale.
