Lewis County man arrested on drug charges

LEWIS COUNTY, MO. -- Authorities in Lewis County arrested a local man on drug charges.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Department arrested 33-year-old Clayton Wainwright of Labelle, Mo., on Thursday.

Wainwright is charged with delivery of a controlled substance in connection with an incident that occurred last September. He allegedly sold a felony amount of marijuana that was later seized by Lewis County Sheriff's Deputies and the Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force.

Wainwright is being held in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of $75,000 dollars cash only bond.
