CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA (AP) -- The results of tests on dozens of government-issued mobile homes given to victims of flooding in Cedar Rapids show that some contained formaldehyde levels above the state's allowable level.
State officials and officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency says that the readings could be could be attributed to smoking or other living conditions.
FEMA issued the results of 55 retests on the mobile homes on Friday afternoon. They represent all the trailers that have been
tested so far.
Many of the mobile homes are being used by victims of the June floods.
