State Senator Munzlinger given committee chair

JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- Republican State Senate Leader Tom Dempsey has made committee chairman assignments for the upcoming legislative sessions.

State Senator Brian Munzlinger, from the 18th District, has been named chairman of the Senate Agriculture, Food Production and Outdoor Resources Committee. Munzlinger is beginning his second term in the state senate.

Munzlinger serves 14 counties in northeast Missouri, including Adair, Knox, Scotland, Schuyler, Shelby and Linn Counties.
