OTTUMWA, IOWA -- On Wednesday, October 24, the Indian Hills campus in Ottumwa will be filled with high school students for the school's annual Senior Day.
Hills staff are expecting the biggest turnout yet this year, which may indicate that more and more families are recognizing the economic advantage of getting general education classes or the first two years of a program completed at a community college.
The students will gather in the Hellyer Center Wednesday at 10 a.m., and will have the opportunity to explore the campus all day.
"It's going to be a chance to hear and see and touch and really just take in the whole campus environment," said Mark Thompson, Executive Director of Enrollment Services. "Those that are really interested can take a tour of campus and see our residence hall, our dining facility, our auditorium, but it's a hands-on approach to seeing what a college environment is all about."
There is still time to register for Senior Day by calling the Ottumwa Indian Hills office at 641-682-5306.
If you or your student cannot attend this week, Indian Hills hosts a monthly Warrior Wednesday for interested students to come tour the campus. The next visit date is November 28.
