KIRKSVILLE, MO. --

They are at it again!

The Lady Auxiliary, VFW Post 2508 will be making and baking apples pies at Hy-Vee again.

You can pre-order your pies tomorrow from 9 in the morning until about 5 in the afternoon!

And of course, the pies are going to a good cause.

“It’s wonderful,” Auxiliary Treasurer Dixie Welte said. “So, many people express their appreciation for what we're doing and why were doing it...to support the veterans. Part of our money this year is going to go to the Honor Flight, which flies veterans to Washington D.C. to see memorials and everything. We have guys from our area that go on this flight. So, that’s where part of the money is going to go. The rest we haven’t decided yet, but there’s so many programs to support. There are a lot of places to divide it up.”

On March 29 and 30 you can go to Hy-Vee and pick up your pies.
