KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Some Kirksville residents got into a bit of a traffic jam this morning, not because of cars but because of a house rolling down the street.

Gingerich Construction Transfer was in Kirksville to help move this house that was located on First Street to the countryside two miles north of Kirksville.

Kirksville Police, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Ameren Missouri assisted the crew as they moved the house slowly from First Street and carefully and eventually to Highway 63.

We're told that once the house is set up at its new location, it will be put up for sale.
