KIRKSVILLE, MO. --

If the weather outside has you craving a big bowl of chili, then the Kirksville Moose Lodge is the place you want to be on Saturday. They are holding their 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off from 11:00 to 5:00 p.m.

For just $5, you can sample all you can eat chili from more than 10 entries. Best of all, the money raised will support a good cause.

“The money that is raised tomorrow will benefit the Moose Lodge Charities,” Chili Cook-Off Organizer Denise McVay said.

If you would like to participate in the cook off, you can still enter until 9 Friday night.

The entry fee is $25.

The first place prize is $200, second place is $100 and third place is $50.

There is also a prize for the most creative booth.

There will be games, a DJ and drinks as well during the event.

For more information contact Denise McVay at (660) 216-4016.
