Preceding Clyde in death were his parents, one sister, Arlene, one brother, Gail and two nephews.

Clyde attended school at Millard and Kirksville, graduating with the Kirksville High School Class of 1959.

Other jobs included Troy Mills General Store, Adair County Sheriff’s Office, Adair County Assessor’s Office, and Wal-Mart. He was also a board member of the Adair County Public Water Supply, and he continued as a volunteer reserve deputy for the Sheriff’s Department for several years.

Clyde’s interests included maintaining his garden, working outdoors, and tackling many projects with his shop tools. His biggest project was building the home for Bea and himself, which they have lived in for thirty-eight years. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren,  family and friends.

Clyde never saw a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He loved swapping stories and joking with those he loved. As a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend he will be sadly missed.
