KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- It's a story that will warm your heart.

Kirksville residents are coming together to help a woman who has cancer.

On February 16 Jerry McMain, Basil Walker and Sharon Buck are putting together a benefit auction for Lynn Oliver.

“Lynn and James both are making two and three trips a week to Columbia for treatments,” McMain said. “They have no insurance. They're unable to get on Medicaid...no Medicare and at this time due to the trips James is unable to work, so they have no income.”

The benefit auction will be at 6 p.m. on February 16 at McMain Auction on Highway 6 West of Kirksville.

They say feel free to donate merchandise, gift certificates or financially to help their friend.
