Former Heartland resident to attend Grammys

KANSAS CITY, MO. -- Former Kirksville resident Frank Fleschner will travel to Los Angeles to attend the GRAMMY Awards Feb. 10, 2013.

Fleschner is one of more than 20 singers nominated for two Grammy Awards for their recording: Life & Breath: Choral Works by Rene Clausen.

Fleschner grew up in Kirksville, Mo., and studied music at Truman State University. He has lived in Kansas City since graduating from Truman in 2005.  Fleschner is in his eighth season with the Kansas City Chorale and this will be his third trip to the Grammy awards.
