Meth charge puts man behind bars

DURHAM, MO -- A northeast Missouri man is behind bars on meth charges.

On Thursday, the Lewis County Sheriff's Office arrested Edward Hickman, 43, of Durham, for the manufacture of a controlled substance which is a Class-B Felony.

Hickman is alleged to have also manufactured methamphetamine back in December in Durham.

Hickman is currently being held in the Lewis County Jail on a $100,000 cash only bond.

The Lewis County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the West Central Illinois Task Force in the investigation.
