NOVINGER, MO -- Novinger residents got a chance to have a home cooked meal while helping a local organization.

The Novinger Lions Club held a lunch early Sunday afternoon at the Novinger Fire House.

For only $5, you could have all you could eat pork loin, baked potato, salad and desert.

Members say when people come to eat they are also helping out their community.

"Through the Lions Club, we raise money to help other people in the community like scholarships and different things for the community," said Lions Club Member Aaron Chapman.

The Novinger Lions Club holds a lunch for the community once a month. They also try to do a certain lunch theme every month. They are already planning for a St. Patrick's Day lunch in March.
