KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- The day after Christmas is usually a big day for retailers across the country with people making returns. One Heartland business is closing their doors and restocking inventory.

Blink of an Eye in downtown Kirksville saw business very heavy during the holiday shopping period.

“Like most retailers, Christmas is our busy time of the year. It can make or break you, well this year were doing just fine. People were coming in with lists this year. That's the first time I actually saw that here at our store.”

Jackson says they will reopen Saturday, January 12th and customers can return their items then. Jackson and his wife will be vacationing and will welcome and returns and exchanges when the store reopens.
