Man charged with child porn released

Ricky Parris is charged in Sullivan County with possession of child pornography

SULLIVAN COUNTY, MO. -- A Heartland man facing sex related felony charges in two separate counties is now free on bond.

Ricky Parris, 52, is charged in Sullivan County with possession of child pornography.

Parris was released Thursday after posting a $50,000 cash bond.

His court appearance scheduled for Thursday was canceled, as was all court activity in Sullivan County.

Meanwhile in Putnam County, Parris is charged with first degree child molestation in connection with incidents involving him and a child while he was a school bus driver.

He entered a not guilty plea in a court appearance Wednesday.

His next court date in Putnam County is set for January 23.
