Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz is sticking with coordinator Greg Davis, even though the Hawkeyes had one of the worst offenses in the nation this season.

Ferentz said Wednesday that Davis will return for a second season.

The Hawkeyes scored fewer than 20 points a game and lost their last six games to finish 4-8, their worst record in 12 years.

The Hawkeyes were just 105th nationally in rushing yards per game and 102nd in passing.

Ferentz says Davis, who won a national title at Texas under Mack Brown, is an excellent coach and a tremendous person.
