Thaddeus “Pete” Byrnes, 75 of Kirksville passed away Thursday (October 18, 2012) at Twin Pines Adult Care Center in Kirksville.
The son of Thaddeus Joseph and Gertrude (Ricker) Byrnes, he was born August 12, 1937 in Trenton, New Jersey. Pete was raised by his step parents, James and Dorothy Buck.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step parents.
Pete is survived by his daughter and other family and friends.
Pete graduated from B.M.I. and worked for Todd Ship Yard Corp., Pacific Coast Engineering and Bethlehem Steel. He moved to Kirksville in 1985. He was a member of Bay area Local #38 Plumbers and Steam Fitters and the Kirksville Moose Lodge.
Pete wishes were to be cremated and with no service. Burial will be in the McGrew Cemetery next to James and Dorothy Buck.
