KIRKSVILLE, MO -- Senior citizens and people with disabilities got a chance today to learn about what's available out there to make their life easier.
The 4th annual NEMO Senior Expo took place in Kirksville Tuesday.
56 vendors from the medical field, service organizations, and local businesses had booths to showcase the different services they provide to the elderly and the disabled.
Organizers say that getting the information out there is what this event is all about.
"It's a one stop shop. There is so much information out here and you may not need it right now, but maybe later you do. Just keep that info, so you have a number you can call so you can know where to go find that information," said Committee Member Pam Windtberg.
Lunch and door prizes were available for those who attended the NEMO Senior Expo.
Organizers say this was the biggest turnout ever for the expo, and it was the most successful one yet.
