Hearing set for school bus sex suspect

Ricky Parris is charged with first degree child molestation

PUTNAM COUNTY, MO. -- A former school bus driver in Putnam County, who is facing a sex related felony charge, has a new court date.
  
Ricky Parris, 52, of Pollock, Mo. is charged with first degree child molestation in connection with incidents that allegedly happened with a child on his bus.
   
According to court papers, the 7-year-old victim told investigators there were three incidents, two of the incidents happened on the school bus.
    
Parris was driving for a contracted bus company, which is no longer handling transportation of students for the Putnam County District.
    
Parris is next scheduled for a preliminary hearing on November 15. He is currently free on bond.
