MACON, MO -- This week is homecoming for the Macon school district and it isn’t just the students celebrating.

Residents at the Loch Haven Nursing Home got into the spirit by having their very own performance by the Macon High School Marching Band Tuesday morning. Residents brought their chairs outside and enjoyed the nice weather while the band performed their signature half time show.

“For the residents here at Loch Haven, it’s Homecoming week and we are all excited about that. We always try and get to the parade and this is just kind of an up close and personal type of event for us. We are very grateful for the Macon High School Marching Band,” said Loch Haven Nursing Homes Marketing Director Marybeth Truitt.

The on site performance was a great opportunity for residents that otherwise would not be able to travel and see the band perform.
