MEMPHIS, MISSOURI -- A former teacher in a northeast Missouri school district has entered a plea of not guilty in connection with sex-related charges. 

Corey Stott, 38, of Arbela, is the former vo-ag instructor and FFA advisory at the Scotland County School District. 

Stott is charged with a felony count of sexual conduct with a student while on school property, and a misdemeanor count of third-degree sexual misconduct. 

According to court papers Stott is accused of improperly touching a female student on two separate occasions. Once while on a school bus on a school function and another time while in the vo-ag classroom. Stott is also accused of sending text messages of a sexual nature, to the victim. 

Both the prosecution and defense have agreed to a change of judge in the case. The case will now be heard by Rick Roberts, Clark County Associate Circuit Judge. No new court date has yet been set. Stott remains free on bond.
