Manure truck overturns north of Bloomfield

DAVIS COUNTY, IOWA -- Updated: Additional information has become available on the accident that happend Monday morning.

The Davis County resident that reported to accident to KTVO says that calling the vehicle involved a tractor trailer was inaccurate.

A more accurate description of the vehicle would be a manure applicator/trailer pulled by a large farm tractor.

Davis County Sheriff's deputies responded to a semi accident Monday morning on 170th Street, near Scarlet Avenue, north of Bloomfield.

A tractor trailer, described by Davis County resident Gary Klicker as a manure hauler, overturned completely, blocking the road for a couple of hours.

There was no indication at the scene that the accident resulted in any manure spill.

The Davis County Sheriff's office says no one was injured in the incident.
