Van Buren County Fair celebrates 90 years

KEOSAUQUA, IOWA -- This year the Van Buren County Fair is celebrating its 90th Anniversary.

The fair kicked off Sunday with a gospel program and in the next few days the fairgrounds will soon be packed with all sorts of activities and livestock shows.

Monday evening will be the 2012 Fair Queen and Junior Miss Contest held at the Roberts Memorial Building.

There will be events for the entire family throughout the week including a kid’s day and of course the demolition derby.

The fair goes until Monday July 23.
