Police find body in downtown Ottumwa

OTTUMWA, IOWA -- The Ottumwa Police Department is conducting a death investigation after a body was found near the intersection of Union and Main in downtown Ottumwa early Thursday.

Sgt. Steve Kovacs told KTVO that the deceased was an elderly white male. The police have no reason to believe foul play was involved.
