MILAN, MISSOURI -- Three people are in custody following a drug bust in Sullivan County. The arrests were a combined effort of the North Missouri Drug Task Force, the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office and the Milan Police Department.

Authorities tell KTVO information received by law enforcement about drug activity allowed them to make undercover meth buys on two separate occasions. Officers then served a search warrant at a residence outside the Milan city limits resulting in the arrests.

Charged is Roman Chavarria Junior, 23, of Milan. He is charged with distribution of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. He is being held in the Sullivan County Jail under $75,000 cash only bond.

Also taken into custody during the bust were two people in the country illegally. Both Lorenzo Batista-Murillo and Yoni Cruz-Hernandez, are being held for immigration officials.
