NEAR TROY MILLS, MO. -- A northeast Missouri man is dead as the result of a one-vehicle rollover crash late Tuesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Kenneth Cunningham, 56, of Novinger was killed when he lost control of his pickup on Highway 11 two miles south of Troy Mills at 5:30 p.m.
Investigators said Cunningham drove off the right side of the highway, overcorrected and then drove off the left side of the roadway.
His truck then struck an embankment, throwing Cunningham from the vehicle.
The patrol said he was not wearing a seat belt.
Cunningham was pronounced dead at Northeast Regional Medical Center an hour after the wreck.
