LINN COUNTY, MO. -- A Northeast Missouri man is headed to prison after having his probation revoked Thursday morning in a Linn County courtroom.

Colt Hanie, 39, of Kirksville had been sentenced to five years probation after pleading guilty to a charge of unlawful use of a weapon back in 2009.

His probation was revoked after he failed to report to his probation officer.

Hanie was ordered to serve five years on the weapons charge.

He was also sentenced to an additional five years in prison earlier this week in Clark County, after pleading guilty to a DWI charge and being labeled a chronic offender.
