Man charged in child sex case in court

KIRKSVILLE, MO. -- A northeast Missouri man accused of having improper sexual contact with a victim under the age of 12 has his case moved up to circuit court. 

Terry Collis, 43, of Milan, is charged in Adair County with four counts of statutory sodomy, involving three victims...ages two and four. 

His case was moved to a higher court Wednesday, during an appearance in front of an Adair County judge. 

Collis is also charged in Sullivan County with one count of statutory sodomy. He’s scheduled for a preliminary hearing there later this week. 

Collis remains behind bars on $150,000 cash only bond for the Adair County charges and $100,000 dollars cash only bond for the Sullivan County charge.
