UNIONVILLE, MISSOURI -- UPDATE: Saturday, Feb. 4, 4:24 p.m.

An Illinois man sought by authorities for allegedly forging checks at a Unionville business is in custody.

Putnam County Sheriff Jason Knight said that Ryan Lilly, 26, of Moline, Ill., was arrested Friday morning in Peoria County, Ill. He has waived extradition and is awaiting transportation to Putnam County.

According to court documents, Lilly and Scott Probasco, 22, of Unionville, are accused of passing forged checks at the Unionville Hy-Vee totaling more than $700.

One person is in custody and a second is being sought, in connection with forged checks being passed at a Unionville business. 

Scott Probasco, 22, of Unionville, is charged with three counts of forgery. 

According to court papers, the forged checks passed at the Unionville Hy-Vee store totaled more than $700. 

Also charged is Ryan Lilly, 26, of Moline, Ill. Probasco told authorities Lilly left town when he knew Unionville police were looking for him.
