Two women charged in the murder of a northeast Missouri man, will stand trial together, that.....according to a ruling by a federal judge.

Katherine Mock and Kay Young are facing federal charges in connection with the death of Young's husband, Melvin Griesbauer, back in 2006, at the couple's property near Novinger.

Mock’s attorney had made a motion to have Mock tried separately, however that motion was denied by a federal judge. The two women are each charged with two counts of murder for hire and two counts of conspiracy to commit murder for hire.

The two are now scheduled to stand trial starting October 31 in Saint Louis in a federal courtroom.
